As seen above the questionnaire was unsuccessful as I only got two responses, two responses isn't a wide enough range of people, although I could take their feedback on board it wasn't enough for me to act on. I think this is because questionnaires are time consuming and it doesn't allow the respondent to explain in detail about what they think.
For my AS music magazine I created a poll using Blogger to find out what I should call my music magazine.
Using this way of collecting audience feedback was more successful than the previous one as I got six respondents.I think this is because it was easier to complete by just clicking on the one you liked.
Above is a post from our Facebook page that gave us audience feedback on our final A2 music video.
By using Facebook it allowed us to choose who we wanted to see the posts, so we gain useful feedback from our target audience instead of irrelevant feedback.
Another type of feedback we used was videoing focus groups...
Gaining feedback this way gave our target audience more of a say, although we asked questions they were open-ended which allowed them to expand on what they wanted to say.
A comment made in this feedback was that we need more of a performance element, I feel that I was able to understand the feedback more using this method as appose to the other methods I had tried.
